Weber Genesis Grill

What can I use? Tried vinyl cleaner, lysol etc.

I am looking to get my husband either the Weber 10020 Smokey Joe Silver or the Weber 40020 Smokey Joe Gold. Both are charcoal. Is there a difference in the two? Any help is appreciated!

we just bought a new weber grill and you dont ned to charcol for the grill anymorer(if it makes a difference). But how do i hook up the gas tank

so i own the one touch Charcoal grill, well my moms birthdays coming up in about 3 week and am hosting a dinner for her birthday but i want to make rotisserie chickens but any one know if they sell a attachment part even if its a universal one that has actually worked well with this grill? thanks !!!!!!

OK… so I have the Weber *Performer*.. and I’ve had it for quite some time. I need a new bowl for it. Is it possible to buy that? Where could I get it? How much?
The *bowl* is the bottom part of the grill itself, it holds the charcoal.

Which grill is better?

I purchased a small townhouse and I’m looking for a quality grill that wouldn’t take up too much space.

So we decided to get a Weber grill but have questions about some of the differences between different models of Weber grills. I checked Weber’s website and they have no information about the following::
1. One type of grill has a "crossover" ignition, while the other type has an "electronic crossover" ignition. What’s a "crossover ignition" and what’s the difference between the two different types of ignitions?
2. One grill has porcelain enameled cooking grates, while the other has porcelain coated cast iron. When the grill has porcelain enameled cooking grates, what material does the porcelain enamel cover?
3. Is a sideburner worth the extra cost?

If so, which models have battery-powered ignitor?

Does this type really work better than the standard "push-button" ignitors?

If I get it from the Home Depot will they assemble it OK or should I do it myself?

I have a Weber grill. It is my second one; the first one caught fire and so I used a fire extinguisher on it. Since it was covered with a layer of white chemical powder, I got a new one. Today, it happened again, but the grill is pretty new. Can I just replace the grill and flavorizer bars, scrub the rest and start grilling again? Or will those chemicals make the food unsafe or taste bad no matter how I clean it?

I have a normal sized propane tank attatched to an old Weber grill. I cant seem to figure out how to remove the hose from the tank so i can go and get it refilled. My mom went by some place and some guy whowed her how, but she says its not the same, but even if it was the same i doubt she would remember how he did it.

Please help i really want my steak tonight.

I have a weber grill, and the charcoal bricketts die out before I finish grilling. They haven’t turned to ash, some are only half burned. I only put enought coal to cover the bottom of the grill. The bottom of the grill has openenings in it, and they are open. If I put the top on the grill, I leave the openings on the lid open too. What am I doing wrong?

I was advised that Weber BBQ grills are the ones to get even though they are double the price. I was told in cheaper grills the starter goes bad fast and the cheaper thing ends up being more expensive in the long run. When I can get a different grill for 0 should I really spring for a 0 Weber?

We’re going camping this weekend and I’ve gone and bought one of these BBQs so we don’t have to cart a gas bottle around but I’m now concerned because a friend of mine says it will take an hour to heat up!

I have never grilled before, and now I’m very tempted to try my hand at it. I don’t have much space (1 bdrm apt) and will have to grill outside our apartment building, so I want to buy a Weber Smokey Joe portable grill. My question isn’t about the grill, but how to safely light, maintain, and dispose of charcoal as I use my grill. Anyone have any tips, tricks, or simple directions?
